about your meditation guide

My name is Dr. Nancy Shah. I'm a licensed psychologist who has been practicing meditation since 1995. 

I did my doctoral dissertation on Mindfulness Meditation, conducting research to determine whether a meditation practice could decrease healthcare costs in the workplace (spoiler alert: Although my sample size wasn't large enough, all indications pointed to a positive outcome.)

I’ve done 10-day silent retreats and have been consistent with my practice for many years.

In this meditation class, I want to share with you my 20+ years of wisdom and experience, which I've gained through my practice as a psychologist and my lifelong experience as a woman with a deep desire to live in alignment with the wisdom of my body, mind, and spirit.

I know that meditation isn't one size fits all. That is why I have developed an approach to meditation that specifically supports women going through midlife who want to eliminate blocks and live their best life in a way that is fun and not just one more thing on your already lengthy to-do list.

I'm looking forward to sitting in meditation with you.
